New York State Dairy Assistance Program
On April 9, 2007 Governor Eliot Spitzer signed legislation authorizing $30 million for the New York State Dairy Assistance Program. This allocation of funds was included in the 2007-08 State Budget to provide a direct payment to dairy farmers for milk produced during the 2006 calendar year. Following is important information outlining the details of this program.
